We’re very excited to announce that on Saturday, August 15 (our final practice of the season), we will be welcoming two special guest speakers who will share their experiences in the NCAA and with the Canadian National Team.
Connor Macmillan will be joining us—Connor has been a Storm athlete since the 12U level. He studied for five years at San Jose State University, graduating in Interdisciplinary Engineering. During his time there, he became a conference champion and a two-time team captain. Connor has trained with the Canadian National Team since 2020 in Montreal and Spain, and previously competed with the Youth National Team in 2019 in Trinidad & Tobago. We’re also excited that Connor will be supporting our club next season, particularly with the girls program.
We will also have Raha Peiravani, another former Storm athlete who started at the 12U level. Raha recently graduated from the University of Hawai?i at Manoa with a degree in Finance and International Business, along with a minor in Psychology. While at Hawai?i, she played centre on the women’s water polo team and is currently part of the Canadian Senior National Team talent pool. This upcoming season, she will be playing professionally in Marseille, France.
The schedule for the day will be:
6:00-7:00 PM: Fun and final practice
7:00-8:00 PM: Guest presentations and Q&A at CCAC
This is a fantastic opportunity for our athletes to learn, get inspired, and ask questions about NCAA pathways, U.S. universities, and representing Canada at the national level.
We strongly encourage everyone to attend!
